Jules here. We’re taking a quick break from Sneaky Peek author videos today to talk about wine.<\/p>\n

My book launch for Wild Things!<\/em>\u00a0was held at Nashville’s hoppin’\u00a0Parnassus Books<\/a>. They have an event series called Wine with the Author, and lucky for me, my book launch was paired with this series.<\/p>\n

What this means is that Dan Hutchinson, General Manager of the Wine Shoppe at Green Hills<\/a> in Nashville (Dan is also a former chef and Seattle resident), read\u00a0Wild Things!<\/em>\u00a0and pondered what the best wines would be to pair with the book. Do you love this idea as much as I do? I could not\u00a0wait<\/em>\u00a0to hear which wines he had chosen and why. (Here<\/a> is a really great Q&A with Dan over at Parnassus’ blog about what he does and why. I highly recommend reading that.)<\/p>\n

Here below is Dan speaking at the launch itself. I had asked my husband to record it so that I could share it with Betsy, but we decided to share it here too, ’cause why not? Dan’s “bottled poetry” idea is such a great one, and I have to say, it made my book launch even more fun and even more special.
